About FDC
Developing young players since 2005
The Football Development Centre is an Official Development Partner of Aston Villa, with more than 550 players training with us across Birmingham, Studley and Worcester.
Who we are
The Football Development Centre (FDC Academy) has been developing young players since 2005. We coach players aged 4 to 16 at three venues, from first sessions through to Academy, representative and MJPL football.
Every programme follows one syllabus and a shared set of core skills, so players can move up the Development Model with confidence.
To create a safe and elite environment for players to flourish, learn and develop.

Our values
The FDC way
Our players have a responsibility, regardless of system, to display these qualities.
-
Be hardworking
A basic requirement for every player, whatever their age.
-
Strive to win
The result matters less than the will to win it, alone and together.
-
Be prepared
For whatever test is put in front of them.
-
Play without fear
Be brave and express yourself. Fear is challenged head on.
-
Make mistakes
Mistakes come first, learning follows. That is how players improve.
-
Keep the tempo high
Sustain a high level of intensity throughout every session.
-
Stay positive
Be part of the FDC family and help create a positive place to learn.
